**About the Role**:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized. In this role the cleaner operates different machinery like pressure washer, ride on sweepers, scrubbers and power equipment. It is a temporary position with a requirement between January 16 and March 21.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Dusting, vacuuming, spot cleaning, mopping, washing
- Collection and removal of garbage from drop point to a garbage bin or compactor
- Cleaning the glass and common areas like washrooms, stairwells, elevators that require ladders or extension equipment
- Striping and finishing the hard surfaces, washing/scrubbing of floors done with manual or power scrubbing equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance procedures on various electrical cleaning equipment
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Must be able to pass a reliability clearance
