**Thunder Bay Pulp & Paper** is a leading northern bleached softwood kraft and northern bleached hardwood kraft pulp, paper, newsprint and directory producer. **Your challenges**:
The Mechanical Maintenance Planner will plan future maintenance repairs using a CMMS.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with operating and maintenance personnel prioritizing planning projects into the future.
- Review and approve work orders and address each work order from a prioritized list, create a bill of materials, parts lists and job templates and procedures as required.
- Source parts and services from vendors and suppliers and assign labour hours including collaboration with contractors to ensure the work is completed.
- Develop job packages that include work orders, material sheets, safety references and feedback reports.
- Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations and to assist external auditors such as the TSSA, insurance companies, and / or other groups as required.
- You are required to ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations with respect to health and safety.

**Your profile**:

- Diploma or degree preferred, coupled with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an industrialized manufacturing setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment.
- Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong background in MS Office, MS Project. Experience using SAP would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to balance priorities that meet short and long-term objectives; uses organized and efficient work methods.
