Our Personal Banking team includes a diverse group of finance professionals who strive every single day to achieve strong results for the bank and their clients. Our team of designated personal banking professionals know and understand the value of relationship building and brings that perfect combination of stellar stewardship, client support and financial expertise to the table. No day is ever the same in personal banking. Whether it’s providing proactive client solutions, stellar service support, consultation sessions or financial advice, we’re there every step of the way for our clients to ensure they reach their personal and business dreams. The opportunity
Account Managers are our specialists in personal banking, helping our clients understand where their money is going and what it is doing. Things like purchasing a home, investing in retirement or helping their children go to post secondary school. This means having the chance to truly steer and grow your own portfolio of business.
The day to day
Relationship building. Financial analysis & guidance. Sales. Process & operations.- Dynamically fluid and purpose driven days that put you in the driver’s seat. Building, growing and maintaining profitable, long lasting and genuine relationships with CWB clients.- Proactively identifying and anticipating client needs to uncover opportunities to be crucial to their financial success.- Exercising and developing your financial knowledgebase - reading, learning, and actively seeking market data, lending strategies, investment activity and much more.- Using customer insights to drive and guide your prioritization and handling of key relationships, information, and documentation. Developing strategies and scheduling for each account, while focusing on portfolio management, quality, exposure limits and security requirements.- Sharing your expertise of financial products and solutions with clients and your colleagues - supporting their knowledge and participating in team meetings.- Spreading positive vibes and collaborating with a team you’re proud to be a part of.
Foundational knowledge & experience you will grow with
You’ve spent 4 years in a banking environment with a strong exposure to lending and investing, including enough experience in credit to bolster your understanding of credit granting analysis. You've got your Mutual Funds License, and some post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

You are results-oriented, eager to learn and have a real interest in finances and how people spend and use their money.- You are energized when faced with ambiguity and can adjust your approach - with people and problems - to respond efficiently and optimally in changing conditions. This means balancing the many tasks, demands and challenging priorities that arise in a day with a practiced ease and level head.- You’re computer savvy - MS Office Suite, as well as exposure to a lending or banking system.
