**Job Summary**:
The HR Specialist provides consultation and support to a team of HR People Advisors and HRBPs and serves as a resource for employees and managers to respond to inquiries and requests relating to policies, procedures, processes, and programs. Possess a broad knowledge base across HR functional areas, extraordinary customer focus, and the ability to onboard, train and oversee co-op execution of administrative activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Leads all administrative, transactional, and data/records management activities in support of HR, including processing life-cycle transactions such as onboarding, status, position and compensation changes, all terminations - voluntary and involuntary, to include all types of contractors, employees co-op program offboarding. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and completeness in HR systems. Prepares HR-related paperwork in support of the employee life cycle including letters and agreements. Onboard, train, mentor, and oversee all activities of our PEX Co-ops in the execution of inquiries via ServiceNow and all employee system changes.
- Helps to map processes and procedures, implement policies and guidelines, and leverage key metrics and KPI’s to drive effective process improvement activities.
- Supports the consistent and efficient administration of core HR programs, such as temporary remote work, managing visa expirations, employee probation periods, relocation activity, etc., by managing and recommending improvements to tools, templates, process documentation, and policies, including the ongoing reporting of business-focused HR metrics and data, data audits and year-end activities.
- Works with other members of the PEX, Service Delivery team and CoEs to identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes, tools, and programs.
- Provide ongoing general support and guidance to employees and leaders on HR programs, practices, policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
**Required Experience**:
- Minimum of 1 year working in an HR, administrative/specialist and/or or customer service role
- Preferred Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities while maintaining composure
- Comfortable taking initiative to independently manage work and projects, and contribute to team goals and process improvement
