Offline is looking for a new team member to join us This position is currently part-time with the opportunity for more hours/hours during the day. This role requires the ability to think on your feet, work well with your team on many different tasks during your shift, and most importantly be able to have fun at Offline Board Game Cafe

**Here's what your job will look like**:

- Serving tables, taking orders, and completing orders.
- Preparing food, snacks, and drinks.
- Cleaning tasks around the cafe.
- Using our point of sale to ring customers through for their bills and any retail purchases.
- Reshelving board games after guests use them.
- Helping run parties and events.
- Taking temperatures of commercial equipment, completing liquor log book entries, and keeping up with all health and safety standards.
- Learning board games so you can make recommendations to customers.

**Here's what we are looking for**:

- Someone with a strong grasp on customer service, serving, and willingness to learn. Experience isn't everything, we are happy to teach if you are willing to learn.
- Someone who is comfortable talking to guests and having fun.
- You must come to work well groomed with a clean uniform. Personal hygiene is very important in the food industry.
- Someone to work on our evening/weekend team who has or is willing to get their Food Safety Certification.
- Some who is 19+, able to serve alcohol, and who has or is willing to get their Responsible Beverage Course.
- Both of these certifications will be mandatory within your first two weeks of employment and must be completed on your own time but we will pay for the certifications.
