**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and motivate store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor store operations to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training sessions
- Manage inventory control to optimize profitability
- Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to attract new customers

**Skills**
- Strong leadership with proven supervisory and team management experience
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, merchandising, and scheduling
- Experience in retail sales management, shift management, and marketing strategies is a definite asset
- Competent in budgeting, cash handling, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing multiple responsibilities
- Experience in a health food store or retail environment is preferred
