**Maintenance Technician**

**Kent Homes is one of Atlantic Canada's largest providers of homes and modular space solutions. We've been building quality structures since 1958 as part of the J.D. Irving, Limited group of businesses. Kent Homes Limited consists of 3 distinct business units: Kent Commercial, Kent Mobile Shelters, and the residential home division entitled Kent Homes. Located in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, we build top quality homes and offices year-round.**

**Qualifications and Key Responsibilities**:

- A graduate from a recognized Carpentry program with a Carpentry Certificate or equivalent experience
- Industry repair and maintenance experience with respect to, electrical, plumbing, framing, windows, doors, flooring, countertops, and siding
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Perform all duties of the job with a high degree of safety consciousness
- Be customer service oriented with strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record (drivers abstract will be requested)
- Ability to travel within Atlantic provinces including overnight stays within work week (M to F)
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Physically able to perform all aspects of the job
- Responsible for inventory control of materials and assets
- Maintain professional image of company vehicle
- Work with the Warranty Department on continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with all team members
