**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children according to monthly menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure meals are served on time and in appropriate portion sizes for different age groups.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including storage and inventory management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Collaborate with daycare staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of children.
- Promoting healthy eating habits and positive mealtime experiences.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a daycare or similar setting.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs for young children.
- Ability to follow recipes and menus, while also accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, especially when interacting with children.
- Certification in food handling and safety is preferred.
