Excavator Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain excavators
- Perform materials assorting tasks as requested and guided
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to load trucks/trailers/walking floors and move materials
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete requested tasks on time

**Requirements**:

- Proven 5-years minimum experience in operating excavators
- Proficient in the use of John Deere machinery
- Valid Class 1 or 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Necessary mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot, perform minor repairs on equipment, point out issues to mechanics
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced and dusty environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
