Reporting to the Manger, Field Operations. The Sales Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data to meet the needs of Sales, Operations and Finance. The Sales Analyst will create both standard and custom reports and conduct quantitative product/sales analysis to support the above departments. While doing so, the Sales Analyst will build and maintain a strong relationship with the sales team.
The Sales Analyst will also be the point of contact for a variety of departments at Sym-Tech. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious individual who can operate on cross functional level and is committed to delivering quality and results
Position Functions
- The key contact person for field sales for their reporting and administrative needs
- Maintain sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against sales targets
- Assist management in developing and reviewing pay plans, sales territories, bonus calculations, and rolling sales forecasts
- Develop customized excel models, reports and presentations for sales operations
- Generate ad hoc reporting for sales, management, and internal departments (Accounting, Marketing, Dealer Support, Product Development, and Learning Centre)
- Communicate sales reporting, forecasts and recommendations to management
- Maintain CRM data integrity and administration (updates, transferring accounts, user profiles, roles, and security)
- Perform special projects as assigned (internal/external sales contests, events, and requests for proposals)
- Liaise with IT department regarding software issues, improvements and new projects
- Assist field sales team with entering accurate information in our CRM system
- Prepare forecasts for incentive contests and communicate results to key stakeholders
- Prepare quarterly reports for participating dealers and assist with processing payments
- Perform administrative tasks as needed such as, but not limited to ensuring management cheques are distributed in a timely manner and follow up on expired cheques
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Solid internal and external customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, autonomy, and a focus on execution
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required
- Curious and analytically minded with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
