Ronald McDonald House Charities® Alberta (RMHC Alberta) is passionate about providing a home away from home for families with seriously ill or injured children. RMHC Alberta is currently looking for a Housekeeper to support in keeping our House clean for RMHC Alberta families and work alongside the team in achieving our mission in our communities and to our families.

We offer 87 private family suites at our Red Deer, Edmonton, Calgary & Medicine Hat Houses. Our Ronald McDonald House provide a warm, compassionate and comfortable environment where families can share experiences, eat a warm homemade meal and rest while caring for their child in the hospital.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Housekeeper will be responsible for, but not limited to, room turnovers as per established standards, overall cleanliness of the House including mopping, sweeping, tidying the kitchen as well as supporting the Family Services team.

**Housekeeper Qualifications/Experience**
- High school diploma.
- 3 years of experience as a Housekeeper.
- Experience in the hospitality industry with room turnovers is an asset.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to do a physically demanding job.
- Must provide a clear criminal record check including a vulnerable persons check.

**Housekeeper Responsibilities**
- Room turnover including sweeping, dusting, wiping walls, cleaning curtains, windows and washrooms, making beds as per established standards.
- Ensuring linens and towels and laundered.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchens.
- Sanitation and mopping of all common areas.
- Organizing all common areas and ensuring the areas are presented well to all guests.
- Placing all waste in proper receptacles.

This part-time position is in Red Deer, Alberta. Hours will include weekends, holidays & weekdays between 7:00am and 9:00pm. Please state your availability on your cover letter.
