The Job:
Permanent

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Mon to Fri, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

You will be responsible for:

- Installation and removal of associated general automotive electrical/electronics work on 12 volt systems such as but not limited to emergency lighting systems, camera systems and radio equipment.
- Performs general troubleshooting, preventative and scheduled maintenance of electrical components installation of general automotive and heavy vehicle electrical work on 12 volt systems.
- Layout, drilling and cutting of aluminum, plastic for the installation of components and equipment as required.
- Basic fabrication of small aluminum parts (such as brackets).
- Installation of vehicle add-ons such as bumpers, running board etc.

**Requirements**:

- BC Class 5 driver’s license.
- Clean BC drivers abstract.
- MUST have a clean criminal record check.
- Quality must be important to you, our reputation depends on it.
- Have good attention to detail, detail oriented, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety
- Strong organizational skills and the desire and ability to learn new things
- Have a positive attitude, work well with others and take pride in a job well done.
- Must own basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, pliers, cutters etc)
- An understanding of 12 volt electrical systems is an asset.
- An understanding of electrical troubleshooting as it relates, is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with mobile electronics is an asset.

Wages are negotiable for individuals with related experience. Probationary period is three months with opportunity for wage adjustment based on demonstrated skill.
