We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Grocery Associate to join our dynamic team. As the grocery associate, your role will be pivotal in efficiently managing the flow of goods into our company's warehouse, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and stocking of products. Your strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations within our warehouse facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of quantities and items against purchase orders, and invoices.
- Inspect received goods to identify and promptly report any damages, discrepancies, or quality issues.
- Ensure that received products are appropriately labeled, tagged, and sorted for easy handling.
- Stock grocery and assist with customer service
- Safely and efficiently store incoming products in designated locations, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Work closely with the shipping team to coordinate outbound shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment and handling goods.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in cooler and freezer environments as necessary for the proper handling of perishable goods.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse area, promptly reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure seamless operations and an efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and customer service, to address any inventory-related queries or issues.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Grocery Clerk or in a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and handling goods.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and effectively (preferred).
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects (up to 40 lbs), stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in cooler and freezer environments when needed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to Commute:

- Edmonton, AB T5H 2L6 (preferred)

Work Location: In person
