**Co-op Student - DevOps - May Summer 2025**

Annual salary: 1,792.24 - $2,257.45 biweekly

The location for this position is in our Edmonds Burnaby, BC office.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and talented DevOps Co-op to join our dynamic team. You will be
working closely with our mobile full stack team, which develops web and mobile (iOS) front ends and middleware services.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in DevOps and Development practices, work on
exciting projects, and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitoring and deployment of systems.
- Development and maintenance of DevOps tools.
- Kubernetes pod deployment and management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment and infrastructure.
- Contribute to the improvement of DevOps processes and best practices.
- Contribute to internal mobile app or middleware service development if opportunities arise.

**What you bring**

post-secondary institution in Canada.
- Minimum 2nd year students currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**What we offer**
- As a condition of employment at BC Hydro, a background check clearance will be required.
- This position is for a four month work term with a strong potential to extend for one additional term.
- Students are expected to work at the job location for their co-op role and it is the student’s responsibility to relocate

themselves if necessary.
