Therapy Assistant

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapist to provide high-quality patient care in various settings. Your expertise will contribute to the rehabilitation and recovery of patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist physiotherapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment by following infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $17.34-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 per week

**Experience**:

- physiotheraphy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- license as a therapy assistant (preferred)
