**PURPOSE OF EMPLOYMENT**

The yard attendant performs various handling tasks.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Participate in the loading and unloading of trailers using machinery;
- Movement of equipment and loads;
- Secure the merchandise on the trailers;
- Carry out snow removal from trailers, yard and traffic areas;
- Lawn maintenance;
- Ensure the cleanliness and order of the premises;
- Repair of tarps and load securement devices required for loading;
- Perform daily inventory of trailers and trunks to ensure that they contain the equipment necessary securing loads;
- Perform verification and mechanical inspection of loading equipment.

**COMPETENCE PROFILE**
- Hold a valid class G driver’s license (class AZ asset);
- Be able to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods of time and/or work in difficult conditions;
- Excellent ability to work in a team;
- Know the transport and securement on an open trailer;
- Forklift license (asset).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
