Dundas, Canada Pierogi Me! Full time

We’re hiring a **Cook** to prepare and serve pierogi at our Dundas farmers market booth. **Every Thursday 1-6:30pm till mid October**. This role involves cooking frozen pierogi (boiling and pan-frying) on-site, while keeping up with orders, maintaining cleanliness, and interacting with customers. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask with divided attention—handling cooking, timing, and customer service all at once.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Boil and pan-fry pierogi to order using portable equipment
- Manage multiple cooking tasks at the same time
- Set up and break down the booth and equipment
- Keep cooking and prep areas clean and organized
- Interact professionally and warmly with customers
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with prep and cleanup before and after market hours

**Requirements**:

- Experience in cooking or food prep (home or professional)
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable working in outdoor settings and standing for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
- Food handler’s permit (or willingness to get one)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in changing weather conditions

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
