**We are now seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Preparation of bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Process Records of Employment.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensures compliance with national, provincial, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Maintain payroll processes and records for multiple clients.
- Prepare journal entries and provide payroll-related support to the accounting team as needed
- Provide answers to inquiries regarding tax slips, payroll policy, deductions, taxable benefits, and earnings.
- Investigate and resolve payroll problems.
- Complete and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual WCB/WSIB & EHT payroll reports.
- Prepare year-end reconciliations and tax form preparation (T4s, T4As, Form 2220s, WCB, WSIB, EHT, etc.)
- Manage and maintain the payroll system, as well as make recommendations to improve the scalability and efficiency of internal payroll processes.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prepare and complete payroll audits and inquiries from the CRA.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
**Required Qualifications**
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation required
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
- Demonstrated payroll year-end experience (T4s/T4As, Workers’ Compensation, EHT)
- Strong ability to quickly learn new systems and tools (experience with Wagepoint or Payworks is a plus)
- Multi-jurisdictional payroll processing experience is considered an asset
- Client-facing role or customer service experience is an asset

**Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Annually**
