Clinical Counselor

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

1. Responsible for counselling clients that are provided by Solidarity Therapy

2. Responsible for marketing some of your own clients

3. Compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations;
4. Abide by any applicable ethics and guidelines set forth by the BCACC, CCPA, or any other applicable regulatory or professional body;
5. Deal with all potential and existing clients of, and other persons doing business with, the Contractor and/or Company in a courteous and professional manner;
6. Use the Jane Practice Management system for all online scheduling, intake and consent forms, accounting records, payment tracking and processing;
7. Abide by the Company’s client personal information protection policies and procedures, including any requirements under PIPA

8. Hold all licenses, certificates and/or degrees required to legally counsel clients within the Province of British Columbia, including, without limitation, maintaining current and valid memberships with any applicable regulatory or professional organizations;
9. Maintain own professional liability insurance.

**Qualifications**
- A Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Specialized training is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate note taking and documentation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00-$120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
