**Position Overview**
- ACSI is seeking experienced **Carpenter Apprentices & Journeypersons**who will be integral to our project’s success.
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking the layout (selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, measuring and marking materials).
- Prepare, erect and remove structural formwork for concrete foundations, walls, columns, beams and shafts.
- Cutting and shaping materials and joining them with nails, screws, bolts or glue.
- Checking completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location.
- General carpentry such as framing, hoarding, doors and frames and other activities as assigned.
- Journeyperson will mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.

**Requirements and Experience**
- **WHMIS 2015 Certificate**:

- **Fall Protection - In Class**:

- **Confined Space Entry Monitor**:

- Experience as a Carpenter in an industrial construction environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
- Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

**Project: Red River WWTP**

**Location: 306 Highland Ave, Winnipeg MB, R2V 4T8**

**Rate: $42.84 per hour**

**Overtime: as per collective agreement**
