Located in downtown Toronto, Mentora is a dynamic organization that strives to deliver high quality programming and excellence in its learning environment to all students.

We have an opening for the role of Part Time Instructor for our Business Programs.

The available shifts include:

- Daytime classes run 9:00am - 5:30pm, Tues-Wed-Thurs
- Evening classes 4:30pm - 9:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Saturdays 9:00am - 5:00pm

The salary range for this role is $35 to $45 per hour.

**What You’ll Do**
- Delivering effective lessons using available resources incorporating various teaching/learning methods to meet the course outcomes.
- Lesson planning, assignments, class management and overall course assessment of the students’ work.
- Engaging students by tutoring and academic counselling while evaluating progress and achievement.
- Challenging ideas, encouraging students to develop skills and knowledge in critical thinking.
- Bring excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Business Programs.

- Marketing/sales
- Intro to HR management
- Analyzing financial information
- International business
- Statistics for decision making and analysis
- Project management
- Business ethics
- Personal development/career planning

**Who We Are Looking for**
- 2-3 years’ experience in vocational training or equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
- Previous teaching experience at a private/public college or university is preferred.
A post-secondary degree in the relevant field is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, supervising student work, and providing support and feedback is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate complex information to a range of multicultural students both orally and in writing.
- Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
- Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
