Production Sanitizer

**Position Summary**: The Production sanitizer ensures all Manufacturing Equipment is cleaned and sanitized following the proper processes. Role and Responsibilities: - Clean and Sanitize manufacturing equipment as required - in accordance with procedures provided/SOP. - Dismantle, clean - in accordance to procedure provided, and re-assemble all related production pumps. - Maintain/ Prepare sanitizing solution in sanitation tanks - as required.
- Fill out all appropriate documentation and follow sampling plan for Chemistry and Micro lab adequately. - Perform or do validations on filling equipment and lines when required. - Always maintain a clean and safe work area (mopping and sweeping production areas and around the fillers) - Must keep Sanitization Room clean and safe as well. - Comply with plant Safety Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and all other plant policies.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities. - Assist line operator and mechanics clean filler parts (12 hr. procedure) - Must have knowledge of GMP and customer requirements - Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time. Qualifications and Education Requirements: - High School diploma would be an asset.
- Must be able to operate independently - Must be able to operate a forklift and pass KIK’s forklift test as per job demand. - Must be able to easily move 45 Gallon drums during shift, stand, lift, bend, crouch, and reach consistently throughout the shift. - Must be able to read and write English (read and understand Production daily schedules). - Must be able to work in accordance with all Health and Safety and GMP Regulations.
- Must be able to work overtime where necessary. Working Condition: - Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products. - Working with unpleasant odours and fumes. - Working in various temperature changes.
- High noise levels. - Regular work with moving machinery increases potential hazards. - Working in small areas with WHMIS regulated chemicals. - Possibility of rotating, midnight, afternoon, or continental shifts.
- Constant contact with water.
