- How your role will add to the story
- The Regional Distribution Coordinator provides supports in and is a key contact for the Regional Operations Managers (ROMs). This role addresses dealer’s inquiries pertaining to vehicle ordering and logistics from vehicle build configuration to final delivery to dealer. This role includes administrative duties and operational support while bringing forward quality improvements and efficiency to services and the overall effectiveness of the Distribution Department and MBCAN as a whole. You will report directly to Manager, Distribution & Ordering, and will have the opportunity to work with the distribution team, IT Department and other 3rd party vendors.
- A day in the life:
- Investigate, troubleshoot and provide timely updates by leveraging the various reports and systems used by Distribution department (e.g. ICL, ATS, GO, SWT).
- Work closely and laisse with various teams in the organization as well as third party logistic providers to resolve issues and answer dealer inquiries.
- Escalates any potential ordering and logistic issues.
- Input engine requirements into the decade ordering table in SWT. Including splitting volume into 3 decades
- Order, track and coordinate transportation of regionally ordered vehicle and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure vehicles are properly licensed and grounded.
- Assist with queries on mispriced orders and adjusting them via buy back process.
- Preparing & submitting journal entries to accounting for pricing corrections
- Participate in addressing and finding resolution for inquiries arising from system performance issues affecting logistic, wholesale or retail transactions.
- Other administrative and operational support as needed.

- Mercedes-Benz Fan skills, requirements & traits:
- University Degree (preference in business related field)
- Min. 2 years of work experience in business or sales operations. Related automotive experience at the manufacturer level strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP and BI systems - SAP, Cognos, Tableau
- Familiar with Mercedes-Benz vehicle lineup
- Strong knowledge of MS Office especially Excel (advanced functions and pivot tables)
- Must speak French
- Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within a constantly changing environment with enthusiasm; must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
