We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help develop, lead, and drive operational excellence within our manufacturing facility. Under the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations Manager will play a pivotal role is ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality welded parts and assemblies while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment. The person in this role must be skilled at developing a robust team through mentoring, planning, and creating structure while at the same time working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Direct responsibility for all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and workforce management.
- Lead a team of production supervisors, manufacturing engineers, welders, and assembly technicians, to meet production targets and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement manufacturing programs and strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and processes to improve manufacturing capability and maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Oversee the commissioning, maintenance, and safe operation of all manufacturing equipment within the department.
- Take a leadership role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Identify training needs and providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance the skills of the production team.
- Participate in strategic planning, resource allocation, setting departmental goals and budgeting activities to ensure successful execution of manufacturing goals within defined timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging methodologies relevant to agriculture equipment manufacturing.
- Able to travel 10% of the time for 1-2 weeks at a time.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing department, managing an equipment manufacturing team.
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and agricultural equipment design and engineering principles.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively manage resources, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Working knowledge with ERP Systems and manufacturing software.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
