**Position Summary**:
In this full-time seasonal position as a mill operator your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to operating milling machines to create asphalt products (emulsions, aggregates, etc.) while ensuring that all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department are being followed.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing asphaltic products, loading/offloading trucks, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and general labour at the Brampton Terminal.
- Maintaining a controlled environment in the mill room to ensure proper operation of the milling machine.
- Troubleshooting issues with JDE.
- May perform additional incidental tasks, as directed by the facility manager.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum High School/College Diploma.
- Asphalt, chemical, petrochemical or tank farm experience is an asset but not required.
- Excellent Organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills (potential to oversee the night shift)
- Strong understanding of time Management and workflow processes.
- Good structural memory and ability to grasp and learn things quickly.
