**Role**

The Bilingual Proofreader will review French translations against agency materials (including but not limited to manuscripts, layouts/mechanicals, prepresses, videos, or final proofs) as required to ensure a high standard of quality and consistency across all assets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial QC review of translated document against approved English copy and flag any discrepancies
- Proofread French assets using provided translations to correct any errors in spelling or formatting, provide feedback on missing elements, and check changes and revisions
- Compare English updates against French where necessary and adjust copy when requested using approved sources

***Qualifications**:

- Bilingual French/English
- Demonstrated knowledge of French medical/pharmaceutical terminology
- 1-2 years of scientific proofreading experience, preferably in the agency setting
- Superior proofreading skills
- Experience using Adobe Pro and marking up PDFs
- Familiarity annotating digital proofs is an asset.

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
- Hourly rate: 36-45/hr CAD
