The Dietary Worker will be called upon to serve nutritious meals to our 66 residents. Duties included for the Dietary Department are as follows: plating, presentation, delivery, and serving of nutritious and healthy foods to the residents of our facility. Dietary Service Worker will have knowledge with the health and sanitary precautions required for food service.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following specific dietary requirements
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food handling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal operations
- Follow proper procedures for meal preparation, portion control, and storage
- Support in the setup and cleanup on dining areas

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is considered an asset
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal delivery
- Experience in a long term care facility also considered an asset
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing to dietary needs

Pay: $18.47-$18.73 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
