**Spanish Interpreter (Casual)**

Casual Position
- On Call

Talbotville, Ontario (Rural location)

**Reports to**:
Human Resources Administrator

**The Company**

**Job Description/Responsibilities**:

- Variable shift times depending on seasonal demand, mostly on call.
- Assist with onsite/offsite translation services for temporary foreign workers
- Assist with delivery of translation of trainings programs to promote workplace health and safety, new employee orientation, safety talks, equipment lock out, etc.
- Provide accurate interpretation and translation of external and internal content from English to Spanish or vice-versa
- Attend medical appointments at local hospitals and health clinics
- Other duties as required/assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Winter months are considered peak season, must be available to work November through January
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, both one-on-one and groups.
- Students are welcomed to apply, must be available weekends and holidays

**Physical Location/Working Conditions**
- Greenhouse environment in a rural area, reliable transportation required
- Must be willing and able to travel locally: between Elgin-Middlesex County

**Wage**
- $21 per hour
