**What You'll Be Doing**

We are looking for an individual with the skills and energy to assist clients who have sustained a variety of work-related injuries. The Clinical Counsellor will work in an Occupational Rehab 2 (OR2) program on a contractor basis, alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Physicians, and Kinesiologists. The goal of the program is to support injured workers through their rehabilitation journey with the ultimate goal of returning to work.

**The role of the Clinical Counsellor includes but is not limited to**:

- Provide clients with psychological assessment and treatment/counseling sessions.
- Facilitate group relaxation training sessions.
- Provide timely written and/or verbal communication of assessment findings and treatment outcomes.
- Provide ongoing group and individualized education to clients, individually and as a group, with a focus on a timely and safe return to work.
- Active participation in regular team conferences involving injured workers and members of the interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.

**What You Need to Be Successful**
- Current registration and in good standing with BCACC
- Possess malpractice insurance of at least $5 million per occurrence
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, as well as independently
- Have excellent clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills
