**Role Overview**

We are looking for a **Handyman** to join our growing construction team. You will be responsible for performing repairs, addressing deficiency lists, assisting with project completion, and maintaining safe and clean job sites while working closely with our team and sub-trades.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform hands-on repairs, addressing pre-delivery and post-delivery deficiency lists.
- Assist with daily construction activities and general finishing work.
- Maintain clean and safe job sites, ensuring proper signage and safety practices.
- Follow construction drawings and specifications for repairs and finishing tasks.
- Communicate clearly with the team regarding project needs and updates.
- Help coordinate materials, tools, and equipment to support efficient project completion.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues on-site to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Travel to various job sites as required (occasional out-of-town stays may be needed).

**Requirements**:

- Experience with residential construction, repairs, or general handyman work (training provided).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- WHMIS and Health & Safety training (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift materials, and use tools.
- Ability to work 40 hours/week, with some weekends depending on workload.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.

**Assets (Preferred but Not Required)**
- Knowledge of Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or construction apps/software.
- General bookkeeping knowledge or willingness to learn.

**Schedule**
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
- Occasional weekends and holidays as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
