Pandaya and Edward Spera Galleries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Pandaya Gallery is an eclectic boutique that carries hand-crafted items from around the world. The Edward Spera Gallery is home to Edward Spera's renowned life-like wildlife painting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers with their purchase decisions, offering personalised recommendations and exceptional customer service
- Educate customers on our unique and high-quality jewellery pieces, including gemstones, and precious metals
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system

Maintain the store’s visual merchandising and displays to showcase our jewellery in the most attractive and appealing manner
- Participate in inventory management activities, including receiving and replenishing merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all displays and products are presentable at all times
- Contribute to team meetings and actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in the jewellery industry

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience, with experience in the jewellery industry considered an asset.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions
- Comfortable working with technology, including POS systems and social media.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
