Halifax, Canada Metcon Excavation & Construction Inc. Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lawn Maintenance**: Mow lawns, trim hedges, rake leaves, prune shrubs/bushes, and other landscaping maintenance.
- **Washing & Cleaning**: Wash and clean vehicles, heavy equipment, and buildings to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- **Basic Construction Tasks**: Assist with general construction duties, including demolition, assembling structures, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- **Material Handling**: Load, unload, and organize materials and tools for various projects.
- **Site Maintenance**: Ensure job sites remain clean and organized, removing debris and ensuring safety at all times.
- **Other Duties**: Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in general labour or similar roles is preferred - particularly basic landscaping tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100lbs).
- Knowledge of basic tools and equipment (lawnmower, hedge trimmer, paint sprayer, hand drill, etc.).
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, especially when performing tasks such as painting, cleaning, and landscaping.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong focus on safety and following company guidelines and procedures.
- Full driver's license and access to a vehicle for use during working hours

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
