- Responsible of opening and closing store when the Store Manager is absent (key holder, alarm system code)
- Providing Customer service in departments, fitting rooms and cash register
- Processing incoming and outgoing shipments, merchandising, maintenance and
other related tasks;
- Performing tasks relating to merchandise presentation within each department
following visual presentation guidelines including promotional event set up
- Participating to a weekly department tour with Manager or Assistant Manager and
following up on assigned tasks
- Responsible for the execution of head office dossiers relating to price changes,
merchandise returns requests, clearance events, seasonal changes etc.
- Performing all tasks related to a department, a section or a sub department including
daily maintenance to ensure Customer ease to shop
- Assisting Store Management for New associate training and orientation
- Performing all tasks related to cash register operation following company
procedures
- Committing to promote sales and different corporate programs by suggestive selling
on the sales flour, at the fitting rooms and at the cash register
- Ensure Shipments verification and report any discrepancies following company
- Maintain clean and organized stockrooms
- Responsible of authorizing returns, exchanges, price rebates, schedules and lunch
coordination
- Designated as an office clerk, which means balance cash reports, to do deposits, to
provide sufficient cash to the cashiers, etc.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

The first Hart store was founded in 1960 by Mr. Harry Hart in the community of Rosemère. From humble beginnings, Hart has always served communities that are often rural, while growing across Canada.

In 2015, Mr. Paul Nassar took over the reins of the company which now counts more than 80 Hart stores, as well as 20 Maison en Gros stores. An expansion plan is currently underway where other outlets will be established shortly.

Present throughout Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, the stores range in size from 15,000 to 55,000 square feet. They offer an impressive variety of fashion and essential clothing, as well as a wide selection of accessories for home furnishings, household items, gift items, toys, bedding, electronics and furniture.

In 2017, Hart takes a digital turn to allow customers to shop online. The website is easy to use and offers the opportunity to know the products through comprehensive descriptions. Also, the company now offers home delivery and in-store picking.

Hart operates as a family business just as it started many years ago. Every employee is a full member of this growing family.
