Fraser Health (FH) is the heart of health care for nearly two million people in 20 diverse communities from Burnaby to Fraser Canyon on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Coast Salish and Nlaka’pamux Nations and is home to 32 First Nations within the Fraser Salish region.

Our hospital and community-based services are delivered by a team of 48,000+ staff, medical staff and volunteers dedicated to serving our patients, families, and communities.

We are seeking a full-time family physician to join our Maternity Department at Royal Columbian Hospital. We are a collegial group who work closely with our Obstetricians and multiple midwifery groups. There are 3,100 births /year for which we are involved in a significant number. We have a Level 3 nursery and 9 labour rooms in addition to 30 maternity beds. Caesarean sections are performed in the main operating room.

We are well supported by a local Diabetes Education Program and the MFM group. Our hospital is a sought after site for family practice residents, and we work closely with them on call and in our offices. We have an urgent need in our community. There are opportunities to share existing office space within the community. Anticipated start date is December 1, 2024 or sooner.
