**Duties**

A Pastry Assistant/Cake Decorator responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Complies with company procedures, standards and polices in all situations
- Cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment
- Icing, finishing, personalizing and decorating specialty bakery product
- Receiving and rotating of baked products
- Filling bakery showcases

**Qualifications we look for**:
**Required**:

- Ability to learn quickly
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Highly motivated and team oriented
- Able to lift up 20 lbs (pounds)
- Have hand coordination, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting
- Constantly standing, walking, gripping and reaching

**Preferred**:

- Experience as a pastry assistant and/or cake decorator is an asset
- A passion for baking

**Work Conditions**

A Pastry Assistant/Cake Decorator's duties are performed primarily in the bakery, preparing and decorating. A Pastry Assistant/Cake Decorator may be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work includes eye-hand coordination, repetitive arm and hand movements, and safe use of equipment, along with frequent interaction associates.
