**Kitchen Team Member**

**Job Overview**:
Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Team Member at Hyatt House. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, meal service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

**Duties**:

- Execute food preparation tasks following recipes and guidelines.
- Handle food with care and adhere to all food safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Support staff as needed during peak hours.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry is a plus but not necessary
- Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in cooking various dishes and meal preparation
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures in a kitchen setting
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.80-$16.00 per hour
