**HSE COORDINATOR**

Sure-Form Contracting is seeking hard working individuals for full time employment as a HSE Coordinator.

Our projects range from $500,000 up to $40,000,000.

As a HSE Coordinator for Sure-Form Contracting Ltd., you will work closely with the project management team and Senior HSE advisor to fulfill the project and company goals of ensuring the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment for employees and subcontractors that work on our projects.

**The HSE Coordinator’s Role**

Reporting to the HSE Advisor, as the HSE Coordinator your tasks will include:

- Implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Ensure compliance with the health, safety and environmental policies put forth by the Sure-Form HSE team.
- Identify potential workplace hazards through regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate these risks.
- Assist in development and implement risk management strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide specialized training for employees working with hazardous materials or in high-risk areas.
- Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents to determine the root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain detailed incident records and analyze trends to improve safety measures.
- Assist in development and maintain emergency response plans to handle various workplace emergencies, including fires, chemical spills, and natural disasters.
- Conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure employees are well-prepared for emergencies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to address and rectify safety issues.
- Ensure that appropriate safety equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), is available and used correctly by employees.
- Assist in development and enforce safety procedures related to equipment operation, chemical handling, and other potentially hazardous activities.

**Minimum Qualifications Required for This Role**
- NCSO certification
- Previous on-site experience of 5 years in a general contracting company would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and utilize Sure-Form’s cloud based HSE management software
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven initiation and self-starter capacity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
