Port McNeill, Canada Drivers On Call Full time

Looking for a team player who can work independantly with at least 4 years driving experience and 3 years work experience.

Your day starts and ends in Port McNeill.

At 09.00 you will help unload our truck of packages that you will load in a van for delivery to businesses and residential in Port Hardy.

Clean Driver's License -no driving disqualifications within the last three Years and clear criminal record required.

Hourly rate Neg
- Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time
- Proper use of handheld scanner
- keep vehicle and offices clean.
- Able to repetitively lift up to 70 lbs and move with help and equipment upto 140 lbs
- Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Communicates with customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival
- Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course
- Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule
- Informs management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time

Customer Service Skills, Good Communication Skills, Problem-Solver, Patient, Pleasant, Enthusiastic, Attention to Detail, Ability to Handle Fragile Packages and Parcels With Care, Ability to Work Under Pressure and other assigned duties.
