**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience across various mechanical and technical areas, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in heavy equipment, truck repair, and industrial maintenance. The Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced technicians and learn essential trade skills in a dynamic environment. Prior truck and coach experience or familiarity with heavy machinery is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn and a solid work ethic are essential.

**Duties**
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Support automotive repair and mechanical troubleshooting tasks
- Learn to read schematics and technical manuals for electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and assembly tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
- Assist with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of heavy and industrial equipment under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to maintain a safe work environment

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience or familiarity with Shop operations, heavy equipment operation, or industrial machinery is advantageous but not mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge or background in truck and heavy equipment repair, welding, HVAC, or electrical systems is preferred
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and assembly processes is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong interest in learning about heavy machinery, trucksystems, or industrial maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work hands-on with various tools and equipment in diverse settings
