We are excited to be repositioning the Alpine Meadows Resort in pristine Clearwater, British Columbia and are seeking a Front Desk Clerk to come live and work at this beautiful Resort This unique hands on position provides the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this up and coming, stunning Resort. The ideal Front Desk Clerk will assist guest while exceeding expectations and connecting to the community.

Full Job Responsibilities stated below.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Completes full duties of day-to-day Front Desk Clerk.
- Manages the front desk operations and guests accordingly.
- Provides prompt and accurate invoices upon departure.
- Ensures satisfaction of guests on arrival, during their stay, and before departure.
- Solves all customer issues on the spot, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ensures proper cash handling procedures are in place and practiced by all team members of front desk.
- Ensures proper opening and closing procedures are being practiced and send provides financial reports to the management team.
- The ability to remain positive and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills.
- Great computer skills and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Additional duties as required by management.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/ Experience**:

- High school diploma or a college degree, (2) years hotel and management/supervisory experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and over night shifts when required.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong guest service and hospitality skills that exceed guest expectations and help the company grow.
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written using tact and diplomacy.
- Strong ability to use a reservation system preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook skills.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, integrity and ability to take initiative.
- Must have good time management skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.

**Salary**: $15.65-$18.00 per hour
