Geological Technician

Potzus Ltd is one of Saskatchewans largest construction companies. Established in 1966 we are a second generation family owned and operated business. Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.
We are currently looking for a GEOLOGICAL MATERIALS CONSULTANT.
You will:
- Travel throughout Saskatchewan searching for aggregate and assessing potential sources for quality and quantity to support our gravel crushing and highway paving projects.
- Meet with landowners and stakeholders.
- Operate some heavy equipment and mobile drill to complete test holes.
- Log and collect samples.
You need:
- Valid drivers license.
- Past experience sourcing aggregate or a geological background.
- past expereince with surveying and GPS technology an asset
- Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and time management skills are a must.
- Be able to work outdoors, long hours, and travel throughout Saskatchewan.
- Past heavy equipment operating and mechanical experience is a benefit.
- Responsibility for yourself and others in a safety conscious environment.
- Proven history of strong attention to detail.

**Experience**:
- geological technician: 2 years (preferred)
