Lock One Animal Hospital is a small animal hospital serving the people and pets of the Niagara region in the north end of St. Catharines. We are currently looking for a motivated, animal-loving individual to join our team in a split role as a veterinary receptionist and animal care attendant.

- Reception and veterinary experience are both very valuable, though not required, especially for applicants who possess the other qualities listed above

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Assisting RVTs and Veterinarians with examinations and treatments
- Friendly and compassionate client communication, both on the phone and in person
- Providing high quality and safe in-clinic patient care under direction of Veterinarians and RVTs
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace, including general cleaning of both treatment and client areas
- Creating and following care plans for patients

Position is full-time (40 hours per week)

Clinic hours: 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Shifts are 9 hours including 1 hour unpaid lunch.

Starting wage: $18-20/hr. commensurate with experience
