The Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the product(s) are in compliance with customer standards and requirements, and the Quality goals and targets are met. The Quality Supervisor will supervise the day-to-day Lab operations including daily inspections, SPC, gauge control and calibration, internal defect analysis, corrective actions, and continual improvement activities. This position will utilize Microsoft Office programs, recognize needs and take initiative to manage competing demands while demonstrating organization and attention to detail. It will also require the ability to read and understand blueprints/inspection plans. This position is responsible for assigning and evaluating work, training, and reviewing performance of the Quality Technicians. The Quality Supervisor has authority to stop production and/or shipments when nonconformances are discovered. This position will indirectly report to the Quality Assistant Manager.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the daily operations of the Lab and report progress and challenges to the Quality Assistant Manager or Manager.
- Coordinate training and development of Quality Technicians.
- Follow nonconforming part procedure to identify & isolate defective material.
- Assist as required in cross functional problem solving, CA’s, and continuous improvement teams and activities.
- Ensure Gauge tracking, verification, and calibration activities are completed.
- Maintain the 5S expectations of the Lab.
- Support Company Health & Safety policies.
- Support lab activities as required.
- Complete timecards for Technicians.
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Technical degree, preferably in the field of Quality or Engineering or minimum 3 years (time) internal lab work experience preferred
- Strong team building and team leadership with experience in a supervisory position in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding and experience with ISO based quality systems
- Must be skilled at training and mentorship
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the proven ability to maintain stress levels while meeting tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Must be flexible with availability and able to work overtime as needed
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
