**Your Role**
You’ll join our team of experts who provide overall project team leadership and program management. Working with the project owner in Manitoba, you get to be part of a team who are leading Project Leads, Project Engineers and Project Controls Coordinators to successfully deliver project maintenance and decommissioning projects while adhering to protocols and safety standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide project leadership and design review expertise to the client's projects, representing their best interests and achieving their strategic end goals.
- Plan, coordinate and progress reporting of project management activities including financial, schedule, communications, procurement, risk and issues through duration of project.
- Maintain reports including, site, production, time keeping, daily field work, work package sign offs, and associated drawing sign offs.
- Must be able to interpret and analyze project data, clearly summarize the information and make recommendations to the client.
- Lead, organize and coordinate the scoping, planning and execution of all work occurring on site.
- Have strong communications and problem solving skills to provide solutions and coordinate project resources.
- Ability to influence and lead resources assigned to the project with various backgrounds to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Define and monitor daily work packages and progress reports measuring progress against the plan.
- Plan and maintain a safe work site so that work is performed in accordance with the client’s safety requirements.
- Schedule and monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they are delivering to schedule.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in Engineering or Science or membership in an Engineering organization, or Journeyperson with seven or more years of relevant experience
- 7 years of experience in project coordination and management including experience leading and executing field work
- Eligible to obtain Reliability or Secret Clearance
- Strong team building, leadership and organizational skills
- Resolve client, project and technical challenges
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- The ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Professional industry credentials such as PMP is an asset
- A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with local and regional teams
- A strong sense of community and involvement in local community boards and associations
