**Location -** This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus and South Campus, Edmonton.

Golden Bears & Pandas Athletics is the varsity department for the University of Alberta, and falls within the Dean of Students portfolio.

Golden Bears & Pandas Athletics is one of Canada’s premier intercollegiate programs. The UofA competes in the Canada West conference, which resides under the U SPORTS national body. We are home to 22 teams and over 500 student athletes. We compete in the sports of basketball, cross-country, curling, football, gold, ice hockey, rugby, soccer, tennis, track & field, volleyball, and wrestling. It is our vision to be recognized locally, nationally and internationally as a leader in the pursuit and achievement of excellence in sport.

**Position**

We are looking for outgoing individuals to fill positions in our Hockey, Basketball, Football and Volleyball Production Crews for all varsity home games throughout the season (September - March). If you have an interest in sport and want to assist the Athletic Department in providing an awesome webcast + in-game atmosphere for our student athletes and spectators, we want to hear from you.

Production Crew consists of the following positions:

- TriCastor Production Director
- Instant Replay Operator
- Audio Operator
- Camera Operator
- Video Board Operator
- Public Address Announcer

**Duties**
- Assist with the set up and tear down of the venue for each event.
- Cover a variety of operational positions including:

- digital ticket sales through Ticketmaster.
- manage cash and card transactions for ticket, alcohol and merchandise sales.
- secure venue access points, ensuring patrons have the correct ticket to enter and do not leave the venue with alcohol.
- cover sport specific roles as needed.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- High School Diploma.
- Available and committed to work Friday/Saturday nights for particular sport.
- Technically savvy with ability to multitask, cross-train and learn new skills quickly.
- Strong understanding of live sports television.
- In-depth knowledge of Football, Hockey, Basketball and Volleyball.
- Basic computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Internet Applications.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience on VMix system would be helpful.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship builder.
- Must be self motivated, able to work independently, and be a part of a team.
- Able to solve problems in an efficient and effective way.
- Familiar with Golden Bears and Pandas Athletics teams and events.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
