**Job Description**:
***:Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, is responsible for inventory control and orders, receives and issues material in accordance with established procedures.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receives shipments and withdraws required material from stock ensuring required commodity, size and quantity, and posts issues and items received to stock record account in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintains the inventory control system, ensuring that inventory is at approved levels.
- Reconciles computerized data with physical inventory.
- Processes orders and related paperwork for other divisions.
- Loads and unloads materials and supplies.
- Conducts general caretaking duties within all areas of the section.
- Operates forklift and van.
- Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Secondary school graduation

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Must be at a basic skill level in keyboarding and word processing and possess superior customer service and teamwork skills

**Assets**:

- Experience in warehousing and inventory control is an asset

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Must be physically able to load, unload and stockpile inventory
- Must have and maintain a valid “G” Class Ontario Driver’s Licence
- Must undergo a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
