**_ JOIN OUR TEAM _**
Hospice Calgary is seeking a **Gift Processing & Finance Clerk** to join our team. You will use your attention to detail and accuracy skills to ensure donations and thank you letters are processed in a timely manner. Your ability to switch between tasks from the donor database to the accounting system will be a strong asset. Your accounts receivable entry work will support the Finance Officer in ensuring a clean financial audit.

- **You understand that you are an important part of the big picture** which allows us to continue providing compassionate services to those dealing with advanced illness and grief.
- **You are willing to be flexible** to meet the needs of our finance and fund development teams.
- **You are an experienced data entry professional** with prior experience assisting with financial operations. You are always looking for ways to improve processes and accuracy of the data collected.
- **You are a collaborator**who works well as part of an inter-professional team that crosses all three centres of care at Hospice Calgary.

Qualifications & Competencies
- 1 - 2 years related experience in a data entry role is required
- Experience entering data into Raiser’s Edge (or similar) experience highly recommended
- Previous experience assisting with financial operations of a business or non-profit and/or gift entry
- Strong people skills with demonstrated ability to work well in teams and independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and accounting software
