**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist with the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Help in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team.
