As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced **Quality Inspection **to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in manufacturing.

**SUMMARY**:
This position reports to the Supervisor or Manager of the department. The incumbent ensures that product is run to process and quality as set up and ensures compliance to standard procedure (Shipping procedure, product identification and control of nonconforming product).

This is a unionized position - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following 60 working days.

The pay rate is $21.83

Shifts may vary

Shift Premium where applicable

This is Day shift - Hours are: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

**ROLE**:

- Perform product and process quality audits
- Inspect in-process and final products
- Advise of shortage in materials/goods to be shipped
- Report audit findings using quality documents
- Interpretation of welding procedure data sheets, work instructions, work orders and other manufacturing documents
- Willingness to do physical, repetitive & detailed work
- Aptitude and potential to develop skills
- Strong work ethic and committed to quality
- Strong team building and communication skills

**DESIRED SKILLS**:

- Good mathematical skills
- Manual dexterity - ability to use common tools
- Good interpersonal and communicative skills

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 2 years previous experience in inspection and quality environment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings and other manufacturing documents
- Must have experience in quality inspection, audit and metal fabrication processes
- Computer skills are an asset
- Require Lift truck license (department dependent)
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education
- Fluent in English
