Flexographic Printer

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate flexographic printing presses, ensuring that they are calibrated and aligned correctly
- Monitor the printing process to ensure that it meets quality standards and make adjustments as necessary
- Change inks, plates, and other materials as required
- Troubleshoot and fix any mechanical issues that may arise during the printing process
- Perform routine maintenance on the presses to ensure that they are in good working order
- Keep accurate records of production runs, including the number of pieces produced and any issues that arose during the run
- Communicate with other members of the production team to ensure that jobs are completed on time and to customer specifications

**Minimum Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in printing operations preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond, BC V6V 2G9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- flexo printing: 2 years (required)
